Call for Presentations

As the role of the treasury professional expands and evolves at an ever-increasing rate, Austin AFP is here to assist our members in meeting their professional development needs.  We are committed to providing superior educational opportunities to our members.  As business issues change and the interests of our members evolve, AAFP continues to offer quality programs on the important issues affecting the treasury and financial management profession. 

You are invited to submit a proposal to present a topic at one of Austin AFP’s regular monthly meetings or at the annual conference, which is usually held in September.  Each presentation should be a 50-minute session relating to the cash or treasury management field.  The presentation should be educational in nature, and my be a general discussion, tutorial or case application.  Co-presenters or panel discussions are also welcome.  Suggested topics include, but are not limited to:

Basic or advance treasury management issues    Legal issues in treasury management
Technology issues      Hot trends in the industry
New bank products and services      Disaster recovery programs
Where is the industry headed job/employment wise    EDI/EFT topics
General current trends   Industry wide software solutions
Investments         Government/regulatory updates

 

                                                              

Expenses

AAFP is a non-profit organization and prefers to keep expenses to a minimum.  However, AAFP will provide, printing, copying and electronic media services associated with a presentation.  Reimbursement of travel and hotel expenses will be considered if paid by the speaker personally.
