Eric Lansky of StoneCastle Cash Management will lead a discussion on Cash
Management in Today’s Environment
. With cash balances at record levels and
traditional cash management vehicles like money funds and treasury yields
at historic lows (and little change in sight), treasurers are seeking new
options for cash balances. This discussion will highlight some of the cash
management trends utilized by treasury professionals. In preparation for
this discussion, you may wish to read the Treasury & Risk article, The Hunt
for Short Term Yield
which touches on many of the topics to be discussed in
this session.

Supreme Court of Texas


Justice Dale Wainwright is in his ninth year of service on the Texas Supreme Court
and is recognized for his fairness, legal experience and scholarship. He began his judicial career in 1999 when he was appointed to preside over the 334th Civil Judicial District Court in Houston, Texas by Governor George W. Bush. In a historic election three years later, Justice Dale Wainwright became the first African American in Texas history to be elected to serve on the Supreme Court of Texas. He was
elected to a second term on the Court in 2008. Prior to becoming a jurist, Wainwright handled complex trial and appellate matters in private practice at major law firms for nearlya dozen years. He is a member of the American Law Institute.
