Agenda: 11:30 - 11:45 Check in & Registration 11:45 Lunch served 12:00 Noon - 1:00 PM Program
Program: Hot Topics in Payments When Matt Davies started working at the Fed in 1999, payments were... well... kind of boring. Check, wire and ACH. The occasional new ACH standard entry class code was about as exciting as it got. Not so today! This session will provide an overview of what's new in the world of payments, as well as what's on the horizon. The U.S. continues to march toward "faster payments" on several fronts, including same day ACH, and growth in Zelle, The Clearing House's Real Time Payments (RTP) and other platforms. In the card space, the migration to EMV has made solid progress, the fraudsters are moving from in person to online, everyone seems to be talking about "contactless". And mobile payments are evolutionary rather than revolutionary. Join us to hear the latest and greatest.
