Program:  Economic Update: A Look Back and a Peek at the Future
The presentation will look at the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the economy and how the economy is beginning to recover.  Now that the election is “over”, the presentation will also examine how the economy has historically performed while the White House and Congress have been controlled by each major political party.

Speaker: Dr. William T. Chittenden is the Associate Dean for Graduate Programs in the McCoy College of Business Administration and the 2020-2021 Presidential Fellow at Texas State University.  Dr. Chittenden earned a B.B.A. in Finance and an M.S. in Economics from the University of Texas at El Paso, and a Ph.D. in Finance from Texas Tech University.  Dr. Chittenden is also on the faculty of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University.

Approved for up to 1 FP&A recertification credits by the Association for Financial Professionals at the rate of one credit for each 50 minutes of attendance.
