Topic: Texas Taxes:  Quarterly Updates Q2 2023 

Speaker:  Gordon Martens, Attorney

Gordon Martens is a trial and appellate attorney with Martens, Todd & Leonard, a boutique tax litigation law firm located in downtown Austin, Texas.  He and other members of his law firm focus their practices on Texas tax controversies and litigation.  Gordon represents clients during Texas tax audits, in the State Office of Administrative Hearings, and in Texas trial and appellate courts.  He has represented a wide variety of businesses with a focus on the energy, construction, and technology industries.   

Gordon is a member of the State Bar of Texas Tax Section and the Louisiana State Bar Association.  He was recognized as a 2023 Texas Rising Star by Super Lawyers.  He earned his bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas at Austin, with honors.  He earned his J.D. degree from the University of Houston Law Center with highest honors.
