Topic: Leading a Diverse and Inclusive Culture

As leaders, we are challenged to be effective in work environments that have diversity of thought, race, age, differences in faith traditions, ethnicity, ability, gender identity, and sexual orientation. Leading a Diverse and Inclusive Culture will explore ways to enhance our perspective about cultural competence - our ability to lead effectively by valuing others. We have implicit biases and hold beliefs that lead to assumptions about characteristics, behaviors, work ethic, and performance. During this presentation, we will discuss strategies to uncover biases, encourage inclusion, enhance decision-making, and take action to lead effectively in our diverse workplace.
